December 19th 2015 News

We are enjoying the new building as we have had five baptized so far and two more to get baptized Sunday December 27th. 2015. We have had two weddings to date and several fellowship hall meals served.

We will be having our first Christmas Dinner after Sunday Services December 20th. and our first Christmas Play Sunday Night December 20th.

We are planning for Church Bell and Steeple install for 2016. We miss hearing the Church bell ring and hopefully it will rang again soon.

We still lack restoring the ball field and we hope to have the funding soon.

Emory Heights Baptist Church: Final Inspection Passed, First Service Sunday July 26

Final Inspection Passed, First Service Sunday July 26

Major Goals today as we passed final inspection and given the go to occupy the building. We will be having first service Sunday July 26 at 10 am for Sunday School and 11 am for Church. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate this day of thanksgiving and dedication to the Lord. It is a handicap and ADA compliant building on one level and you will be able to go to all areas of the building. Come and worship with us.

     Saturday the 18th we will be cleaning up the building and doing final little things. 4 of our faithful workers were injured in a car wreck who were doing a lot of our cleaning. If any one can come up and help us get the building cleaned and ready for the 26th. it would be greatly appreciated. Sunday School Teachers need to get their classes ready before the 26th. Thanks to all the precious members of our church and the many other community family that has helped us reach this milestone. God bless each and every one of you that have faithfully worked, prayed and gave whole heartily.

July Update

We are waiting for the Curb,Asphalt and striping. They promised to have it done by the weekend of July 11. Hopefully they will get the parking lot striping and handicap lanes painted early the next week. Our final inspection will be on the 17th. That is all we like being in our new church. Pray that all goes as planned. Here is the latest pics of our parking lot with the gravel. The next ones will be asphalt. We will announce dedication service as soon as we get an OK for occupancy.
