December update

We are so close to finishing. We are getting carpet bids, asphalt bids and new pew bids. We will be having Steve Dumas from Dumas manufacturing Birmingham Alabama bringing samples up to view. He will have Pew ends and fabric samples. I will announce the date as soon as I have it but it will be after the holidays. We would like your opinion. The link to web site is :

November update

We are getting so close to finish. Sunday School class rooms are finished, The fellowship and kitchen area is 80% finished and we are trying to get the sanctuary finished. We are short of funding and it's time to be like the Children of Israel and take up offerings and donations. We ordered the chandelier's and hoping we can get volunteers to buy one in memory of someone special to you. It will be your light that will help shine the light on someone that needs to see for years to come. The chandelier's are $300 each. We have 4 people buying so far but still have a need for volunteers to purchase 8 more. We also have 12 wall sconce's to buy and have a volunteer who purchased 2. We will place in our beautiful foyer a framed certificate or plaque of anyone you wish to honor. We are installing them now in the Sanctuary using funding for the Heat and Air. I pray, let's be cheerful givers and even sacrificial givers. If we can all come together and get the church finished with the exception of the asphalt and pews we can be in it soon. I would like to be in it as soon as we can but we don't want to miss dedication by our 100th. anniversary in June 2015. Below is pictures of the chandeliers being installed. They are beautiful and Billy and Tiffany is doing an excellent job installing them. Claim your light that will shine for generations. May God bless you.

October 12 update on new church building

Progress is moving slowly but the tall ceiling is about to get whipped. It is starting to look really good. The prisoners will be back 3 days this week. We sure need them to finish but I don't know yet if we will have them past the 3 days. Pray that they will get to stay longer. We need some strong prayer warriors for financial help also. With all the building code requirements we have, it is really pushing us to get it finished but I know our Lord will supply our needs. We are pricing Lights and ceiling fans for the Sanctuary and hopefully we can get volunteers to buy one and you can call it your light to help guide someone to Christ. Pray about it and if the Lord lays it on your heart to help we could definitely use it. Hope you enjoy the new pictures. Come and help us every Friday and Saturday as we will be cleaning up and doing what we can. The prisoners work Monday through Thursday when they can. The more involvement we have the faster we will be in it.
